The objectives of the meeting were: (a) to discuss definitional issues and come to consensus regarding the construct of cyberbullying, (b) to discuss methodological issues (sampling, research design, statistical analyses) that could increase the quality and consistency of research in this area, (c) to examine and evaluate existing measures and identify promising measures that could be piloted and subjected to rigorous psychometric analyses in different countries, (d) to identify substantive research questions that should be addressed to advance this field of inquiry, and (e) to plan future collaborative projects to address these questions. This project was funded by grant #0956750 from the National Science Foundation.
